Alan Jewett - US Army Veteran and CPRS in Tennessee

Living in Hermitage, Tennessee, Alan Jewett, a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and US Army veteran, has served as a continuing care coordinator at Journey Pure at The River, where he helped individuals create their own recovery process along their own recovery journeys from addiction. Alan Jewett also served at Firsthand Cares in Nashville, Tennessee, performing community outreach for individuals with serious mental illness and substance use dependency disorders.

Alan Jewett has also worked as a helicopter air ambulance pilot-in-command with Air Methods in Greenwood Village, Colorado, from 2006 to 2024. Working under the requirements of FAR Part 135, he conducted safe and timely helicopter flight operations transporting patients to their needed level of care facility. Alan also completed base-level internal evaluations and audits as a base safety representative, he also collaborated with local and regional management teams to ensure effective communication practices with senior safety managers.

Previously, Mr. Jewett spent eighteen years as a standardized instructor pilot with the US Army, overseeing aviation training programs and accumulating over 2,500 hours of flight time as an instructor pilot. He earned a bachelor of science in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle University. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys volunteering at local food pantries as well as biking, stand up paddle boarding and attending live sporting events.
